We had a lovely party yesterday. Jaden was excited to see so many people. He knew it was his birthday because he had been talking about it for weeks. BUT, Mr. Stubborn wouldn't take his nap before the party so he wasn't able to fully enjoy his cake and presents later in the day. He's pretty excited about his new toys today, though!
Thank you to everyone who brought food & gifts and celebrated with us! Especially Lola Mary and Papap Ed who surprised us by driving up from LA to be here for Jaden. They have been caring for Uncle Gary so we weren't expecting them to make it. It was a great day!
He made his own "Earthworm Birthday Cake" like on the Max and Ruby cartoon.

Jaden wouldn't take his nap before the party so he konked out around 5pm. Man, we were being loud and he didn't even flinch. Normally, everything wakes him up!
The rest of us partied on!
We mostly took video with our camera so we will need to get pictures from everyone else at the party! Here's our photo album so far.

You guys are sweet to let Jaden help make his own cake. I let the kids help cook, too, sometimes, when my nerves can possibly stand it.

God. Two years. Surreal.
Also, I love his yo gabba gabba cake! Mostly because I like Yo Gabba Gabba more than most children I come across. DJ Lance Rock is my hero. 'Nough said.
